ShimX includes a Streamable HTTP MCP server at 127.0.0.1:<port>/mcp.

Built-in tools:

• list_claude_sessions
• read_claude_session
• search_claude_session

The MCP server can auto-start from persisted settings and write or remove Codex [mcp_servers.*] blocks in config.toml.

Claude Bridge binds a local Claude Code session to a Codex thread, then injects instructions through the proxy so the upstream model can read that Claude context through MCP.
