ShimX scans ~/.codex/skills, installs Skills from folders or ZIP files, and can import existing Skills into ShimX management.

Only ShimX-managed Skills can be deleted, which helps avoid deleting external Skills. Install records are stored in a local registry with content hashes.

For Plugins, ShimX installs curated plugin marketplace packages from remote ZIP, local ZIP, or local folders. It writes marketplace configuration to Codex config.toml and provides an injected plugin runtime compatibility layer.
